Getting back to the "routine" has totally taken it out of me - the weekend couldn't come any sooner!
p.s - does anyone have a cure for summer blackfoot?? it seems no matter how many times I scrub my feet during the summer, the bottoms are never clean. frustrating.
The only cure I know is to either not care, or don't go barefoot. I might as well be wearing shoes when I'm barefoot, my soles are so calloused and tough. But I kinda' like it--makes me know that it's summer.
ReplyDeleteSee you on Sunday, right? :)
Pumice once a week to get all the rough dead skin off also gets off the horrible black stuff.
ReplyDeleteHow about tar-off wipes? They used to give them at beach hotels in Santa Barbara to get the tar off your feet from walking on the beach - http://www.budgetpackaging.com/d77400.html
ReplyDeleteMight just be paint thinner in wipette-form though..
The pedi egg is amazing....for real
ReplyDeleteI think the only cure is "Winter."
ReplyDeleteblackfoot update: we spent Saturday at the beach and my feet have never looked so clean - not even a speck of black. guess it was the sand/saltwater scrub combo!
ReplyDeleteLOL that's so cute, Amber. I think walking on the beach is the cure for sure! I wear flip flops sooo much in the summer... my feet don't get black, but I have to use a pumice every single day in the shower to keep my heels smooth and then it's pretty much mandatory to also use foot lotion at night before bed. so much maintenance!
ReplyDeletep.s. what susan wrote.... the only cure is winter... that's so funny! and true...
