{a good night for} quiche
Mmmm flaky crust and veggies all in one dish. Why do I always seem to forget about quiche? Such a yummy meal on a drizzly night. Anyone have a favorite recipe? I'm headed to the grocery store...
Yum....quiches are so easy and delicious. Just need at least 3 eggs, 1 cup of milk, sautee some onions and other favorite veggies, shred at least 1 1.5 cups of cheese and get a pre-made pie crust.
Add the sauteed items into the bowl of whisked eggs, milk and cheese - mix all together and then pour into crust! Easy Schmeezy! Bake on 350 for at least 45 minutes or until center of quiche is firm.
I also have a goat cheese basil souffle/quiche recipe posted on my blog - it is really YUMMY too!
Quiche update: it was insane goodness! I used gruyere cheese, layered the bottom with thinly sliced red potatoes, spinach and bacon. My husband ate 3 huge pieces (after commenting about the girly-ness of quiche and that he'd probably "blow away" after dinner...).
that looks awesomely delicious!

I think quiche got a bad rap with the "real men don't eat quiche" phrase several years ago. I love a good quiche...for supper and breakfast :)
ReplyDeleteI think every night is a good night for quiche. :) This looks so yummy.
