farewell gluten {it's been real}

Call it a cleanse, a fresh start to the new year, boredom, either way, I need to drop a few post-prego pounds. Starting January 2nd (I love a new year's day brunch, so definitely not the 1st) I'm kissing gluten goodbye for a month. I'll just say no to warm crusty bread, creamy pasta, and my morning cheerios. This site is chock full of recipe ideas, I'm thinking big salads, grilled chicken and hearty quinoa dishes -  does anyone have a suggestion to throw my way? image: 101 cookbooks

  5. I have to eat a gluten free diet too, but for intolerance issues. It's not an easy monster to tackle! I'm a huge fan of Gluten Free Girl's blog, too. Great post!!

  6. Gluten Free can hide lots of fat when cooking for example when using almond flour.
    I have a gluten free friend. She does it and feels better when she does but she really takes care to avoid an overdose of calories when it comes to baked goods.
    Good Luck
    There are a ton of sights out there.
