Crafty Friday

I love crafts and all things about being crafty. My friend Kelly, another designer I work with, coined the term "crafty friday" so we'd have something to look forward to during the work week. It all started with Jordan's flower pom-pom's; Kelly wants them for her wedding and I wanted them for Ruby's b'day party. And so, the crafting began. I think they look great - each one seems to get better with practice. For the how-to from Martha, check this out.
I also did goody bags & cupcake flags for the party. Hooray, Ruby is 4!

Hello!
Lovely little party you had there! I spent last weekend making the MS pom poms for an engagement party I hosted. You are right, the more you make the easier (the fluffling) gets.
*cheers!*

Hi Amber, I found out about your blog from Jordan's blog and I must say I love yours too. I love the goodie bags that you made for your daughters birthday. I hope you won't mind if I use the idea for my daughter's 4 year birthday. Can you share what was in the bags ???

Hi,
by all means, use the ideas - they're meant to be shared!
ok, to answer your question about good bags: I just went to the party store & Target and got some cute girly things: a heart shaped notebook and pencil, princess stickers, hair clips, a necklace & bracelet and a whistle shaped like lips. And, since we had a few boys there as well, I had to do some boy items: wristband, flashlight, dinosaurs & a hot-rod car.

I love party-planning. Can you tell?
