viva Brazil

I've never tried a Caipirinha, but after seeing this picture I need one pronto.

They are STRONG (when they're made right). Take it from a (half) Brasilian. This one sounds like it could be a nice mixed drink, but it's got so many other things in it that you'd miss the full impact of a caipirinha. One of my friends calls it the "devil drink" and won't touch them anymore, haha.

Personally, I prefer mine with vodka (called a caipiroska) instead of cachaça, and whatever tart fruit is available. Some of the tropical fruits you can get mixed in this drink in Brasil are fantastic. =)

Wow, this looks beautiful! I'm afraid I'd have to take it not so strong, haha. I'd love to make one for friends and make them really impressed!

I agree with Kristy, they are STRONG! But tasty. Although I prefer their cousin, the mojito :)

That looks like... cucumber, lime, kiwi, and grape? It can probably double as a centerpiece too =)

I'll make you one anytime, we made them all last summer. They're one of my favorite drinks of all time. Limey and delicious! (the OG version)
