I am officially addicted to Perfectly Paris, an enchanting website of the most perfectly-Parisian vacation rentals. A girl can dream...

so. simple.

Do you ever stop to notice all things simple? I just walked my daughter to school; heavy scents of wisteria and roses followed us (it was kind of magical) and a butterfly crossed our path. Back at home, my dog greeted me with his leash in his mouth, ready for a walk. We walked a trail surrounded by tall grasses and wildflowers, and again, those springtime scents filled the air. It felt so cliche to stop and smell the roses, but you know I did, I just wanted to take it all in before I begin my daily grind at the computer. I hope you get a chance - happy spring!

{almost} lipstick

I've actually given up on lipsticks. The cakey-ness just doesn't cut it anymore, I'm completely in love with almost lipstick. My 2 favorite can't-live-withouts are Clinique Black Honey (for day) and Back Current (for night). They look like a sheer brush of color - and just right.

logo lust

When I was going to school for graphic design, logos were an everyday topic. I ate/drank/slept logo ideas. Long out of school, I still notice logos everywhere but this one is kind of gorgeous, and I've been staring at it for way too long. via soho lofts

vintage prom dresses

Growing up, my best friend had a trunk filled with vintage prom dresses. Countless weekends and slumber parties were spent trying them on, prancing around, like a teenage fairytale come true. My favorite was a strapless, fluffy yellow tulle & organza number, I can remember running on the beach in it as we pretended we were models for photography class in high school. I'd love to go thrifting and collect a trunkfull for my daughter someday, makes for very sweet memories. image via flickr

By now you must have seen a shot of Bakerella's tantalizing cupcake pops floating around the blogsphere. If not, here's her latest Easter pops, aren't they the sweetest looking morsels??

I have some great old floppy hats I found at a vintage shop years ago, they beg to be in photos. I set Ruby up in front of a white wall, put together some great quad style images, had them printed at Target and voila! They're framed and in the living room in 2 days flat. Love digital photography.

bromance of the year

We saw I Love You, Man last night and I'm not joking when I say I've been giggling ever since. I can't say enough about it - just go see it, it's the funniest movie! And oh, the wedding scene - all yellows and billowing fabrics - styled like my dream wedding come true.

I am blown away by the amount of gorgeous hand lettered calligraphy floating about these days. Stunning stuff! Today my mom is starting a calligraphy class, it's something she's always wanted to learn, plus she'll be my go-to gal for my invite business. I gave her this for inspiration.
