have you read it??

My neighbor left the book Twilight on my doorstep this morning - she's been gushing about it for months now. Have you read it?

I resisted it for a long time. I didn't want to jump on the bandwagon, but finally broke down and read.

I became completely obsessed. Read all 4 books in a row and now want to marry Edward Cullens!

:) Enjoy it!

I read them, and ended up justifying it by saying that I need to understand the other side of my arguments. The only thing that Stephanie Meyer has going for her is petty thrills and adventure. The list of cons is much, much longer, starting with an immature writing style.

Sorry, anyone who even says Twilight get this lecture. :)

The movie was no Weekend at Bernie's---that's all I'll say (and only you will know what I mean by that).

I have to admit that yes, I've read it. I am stuck at page 100 of the second book. I don't think I have it in me to continue!

Here's the deal, they are not well written, the are totally predictable, and childish. But in their defense they are children's books. If you read them with the heart and mind of a child they are great. They made me feel like a 12-13 year old yearning to be a high schooler. You will devour these books. And the movie is no Weekend at Bernie's.
