e.e cummings

Just after high school and well into my first year of college I fell in love with the poetry of e.e cummings. Couldn't get enough of his passionate words, all strung together just right. I carried a tattered copy of his poems in my backpack should I need to suddenly read "somewhere I have never travelled" while eating my lunch on the lawn, and smoking beedi's (it was such a bad habit, I know...). When I met my (now) husband, I wrote the words of "i like my body when it is with your body" in a love letter. I just found my tattered book and I think I may just start carrying it around once again, for old times sake of course.

I love his words! I just can't get enough of them, but have yet to buy a book of poems. Is there only one? If not, which would you suggest?

I love e.e. cummings so very much. When I get married, I want to have "I carry your heart with me" engraved on the inside of my husband's wedding band and "I carry it in my heart" engraved on the inside of mine. :]

Have you ever read his 'six nonlectures'? a dear teacher of mine gave it to me and it is one of my favorite books. Really wonderful.
