Slim Pickins'
The writer's strike is such a drag! The nights are filled with channel surfing and (luckily) a steady stream of Netflix. Last night we stumbled upon The Millionaire Matchmaker, and I'm just about hooked (due to lack of choices, I swear). The show follows Patti, the owner of the Millionaire's Club, who pairs rich men with the women of their dreams. These men may be wealthy and successful, but let me tell you, they need her help. She hires them personal stylists and has them meet with a relationship therapist before meeting the ladies, and then fate takes over...
Finding the love of your life doesn't come cheap: a membership for a California millionaire who doesn't want to travel for love is $15,000, while a man who wants a nationwide search pays $25,000. International memberships cost $100,000 while billionaires who demand constant personal attention pay $150,000. Oh, and girls join for free.

I got sucked into this too. These types of reality shows are like crack to me.
I've watched it too. It's horrible. The girls are super scanks, not at all what they should be. Patti is a disaster. I love the premise but I guess I don't like LA. Ryan knows the millionaire Jeff who aired this week. We haven't watched it yet, it's on the DVR. Maybe tonight. It's a fun glimpse into another world.
I watched about 5 minutes of this after Real Housewives. Patti sucks, doesn't she?
Please writers, come back!
FYI - the above comment from "amber" is not me, but my friend, Amber. Does anyone know how to change your comment name?? please let me know if you do!
hehe ... chelsea the VP is a friend of mine - and you would die if you heard how funny all the back story is on this show
Ugh! This show is awful! But, it's like a car accident. I can't not watch it. We see Patti complaining about the girls not being perfect tens, yet the girls she brought in didn't seem like anything special. Surely there have got to be successful, intelligent, beautiful women that have great personalities that she can find....I was so confused by it all! They were just a bunch of weirdos...definitely NOT the whole package that she says she "demands." That's LA for ya.
alyssa - I can only imagine what happen behind the scenes, I'm sure there's editing-a-plenty. but, please, do share! I want the dirt.
gjelly - I thought the same thing - perfect 10's? I think not.
