Ruby had her graduation from pre-school and performed a solo act (yes, there were tears in my eyes!). She did her version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and it was sweet (as in sa-weeeet), I was so darn proud!
don't you love that there was most likely no fear of singing in front of people on Ruby's part? I love this age when they can (and will) do most likely anything just because it feels good. Why can't we keep that trait, eh?
pf - yes, it's all caught on video, I couldn't resist. benson - that's what I thought right away, I had butterflies in my stomach for her, but she showed no sign of stage fright at all! melissa - you're planning a wedding, don't go nuts about a flower girl gift! she loves everything girly - oh, and bugs, too.
{what I love} I love to gather friends and throw a great party, designing invitations that make people gasp with delight, the color yellow, my two beautiful daughters, nice weather, corona's w/lime, coconut lotion, my family & friends, piper lane, sipping a latte while browsing Anthropologie, hanging with my hubby on the beach and just enjoying life's little pleasures.

hooray for ruby! You need to give me flower girl present ideas for her. I'm going nuts thinking about what to get her!
