a {gorgeous} day on the bay

Saturday was another scorcher in Sonoma, so we headed to the city for a bike ride and picnic on the beach. It was gorgeous! You never know what you're going to find once you cross the golden gate, usually being greeted by the thick summer fog. Today was one of those amazing SF weather days with just-right breezes blowing off the water, a good dose of the sunshine and a sailing regatta to top it off. Happy weekend, everyone!

Bryan was IN that sailing regatta! At least I think that's the one in your photo. It was the SF Summer Keel. He sailed on Chance and they came in second over all!

I live on the peninsula and we also headed into the city. It was a great day at the marina. There were so many people in the city trying to escape the heat. Sf is natures own Frigidaire.
